This past Saturday was our meet at Gordon College, which is my favorite course! It's a fast course, and it is a really big race with about 300 runners. The weather was nasty and miserable. It was raining all day and very windy, so the whole course was underwater basically. I ran straight through the middle of every ankle-deep puddle. It was the sport of cross country at it's finest!
My time was 21:26, a new PR for me! I'm really happy with this result, especially considering the weather conditions. If I can run a PR in extremely crappy weather, then I most certainly can run faster in better conditions. I was 60th out of 290 girls.
Next week we go to St. Joe's in Maine, and I'm looking forward to a good meet!
