I just totaled up my mileage for the summer and I've logged a real solid 244 miles! I'm pretty happy with that! I kind of hit a rough bump in July, but lately I feel like I'm getting back into a rhythm with running. Lately it's been my favorite part of the day and I can't wait to get out the door to run. I even woke up at 6:20am a few days ago and ran before work. I'm probably just psyched for preseason!
So with 9 days left until I move back to school for preseason, I'm going to try to log 300 miles for the summer! It's going to be hard, but it's definitely doable. I will have to average about 5-6 miles a day, but I will have two "LSD" days before I leave, so that helps a lot. Wish me luck ;)
