So it's been a while since I updated last. I don't have a lot to say right now, but I will give a quick update:Wednesday, June 17 is my first road race of the summer! It's an all-women's race in Beverly, and I'm looking to get a decent time. I'm really curious to see where I'm at since I haven't raced since the winter. I will also have a cheering section all to myself consisting of my grandparents, aunt, little cousin, and my mom. Ha!
I'll be in Florida in 5 days! I don't how my running will go while I'm away. My dad doesn't even want me running in the streets of Florida. I told him I'd do short boring loops near where we're staying over and over while carrying my phone and some cash just in case, and he'll hear nothing of it! My brother is in a baseball tournament at Disney's Wild World of Sports, so I'm going to try to see if the track there is open for public use. It probably isn't, though. Maybe I'll just try to swim a lot?
Speaking of swimming, I've been investigating pool options for this summer. I really want to do some swimming! I'm looking into the YMCA to see if they have a summer membership or a college discount. I am also trying to find out what the UML open pool hours are, and who is allowed at "open pool."

Hey...haven't been following your blog for too long, so maybe there's a reason for this...but why doesn't your dad want you running in FL? Doesn't he know when runners don't run it kills their spirit? We can't have that...maybe you can sneak in some midnight runs...much safer!
Haha, I'm the only girl in my family, so I think he's just concerned. He says Florida has a lot of crime...
