Summer Road Races

I've started to look up some road races for the summer. I'd like to do at least 3 or 4, but I'm looking for CHEAP or FREE races, considering I am a Poor College Student. I've found a few promising ones.

Road Race Series:
Good Times 5k Race Series - Lowell, MA. Every Tuesday at 7pm, $10/race
Westford Academy Summer Series - Westford, MA. Every Thursday at 6:30pm, $5/race. This one isn't a 5k. It's a random 3.6 miles, which I don't understand. It is close to a 6k though, which would be good practice for the NCAA DIII meet.
Danvers 5k Series - Danvers, MA. Every Wednesday at 7pm, FREE. Super flat course, and when they say every Wednesday, they mean every freaking Wednesday, 52 weeks a year.

Single Road Races:
The Granby's Charter's Day 10k - Granby, MA. Saturday, June 13 at 9am, $20 entry fee. I want to do a 10k race, and this is completely equipped with festivities all day afterwards.
Louise Rossetti Women's 5k - Beverly, MA. Wednesday June 17 at 6:30pm, $15 student entry fee. I think I'm definitely doing this one. It starts and ends at Lynch Park, a blast from the past of my childhood. I have a lot of family in that area.
Berna's Great Legs Women's 5k - Lowell, MA. Thursday, July 9 at 6pm, $20 entry fee. This is a no brainer because it starts across from my house and 100% of the entry fee goes to the House of Hope in Lowell. Ran it last year.

Summer races are the best! All of my workouts consist of races, since there's no way I'm going to do 800s on the track like my coach recommends.

I hope your comment about being poor doesn't mean you haven't had any luck with the job search
